There's no point in having your website if you're not directing traffic to it, getting traffic or getting leads from said website! Below is a quick list of what your website absolutely needs to have. Without this information, your visitors may be left unsure of who you are, what you do, and most importantly how to contact you to book your services!

1.WHAT SERVICES YOU OFFER + WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM THEM

The single most important thing any website should have is a list of your services. Your services should be easy to find and easy to understand.

2.THE PRICE OF YOUR SERVICES

if you don’t include your prices on your website you’re more likely to get a bunch of inquiries either asking you for your prices or asking to book a consultation. You’ll spend so much time crafting the perfect email or having that perfect consultation to only get a “oh… that’s a little too far above my budget.” If your pricing is different for every project just include “pricing starts at: $_____.” 3.WHO YOU ARE

As a small business or entrepreneur it’s so important to include information about yourself on your website. It not only gives people a peak into who they are going to work with but it also builds credibility. Just a short blurb about yourself that includes why you started your business and why they should trust you to provide the services you have on your website is enough to put people’s minds at ease.

4.CONTACT INFO

People need to know exactly how to get in touch with you and you want to make it easy for them to figure out. Make sure that you have an entire page dedicated to contacting you and that the page is easy to find. The very first website I designed was when I was 16 and it was a personal page as well as a fan page for The OC (anyone remember the site Piczo 😂 ). I got my Business degree but once in my full-time job I realized slowly climbing the corporate ladder was not for me.
I started this business on the side of my 9-5 after my friend got screwed over (for lack of a better term) on a website with about $2k down the drain. I taught myself everything and she ended up loving the end result and I realized I LOVED doing it!

Now I've been doing it for over 4 years and have gotten to work with the most amazing variety of female entrepreneurs from a brand new luxe clothing brand to network marketers, artists and coaches.

I'm obsessed with what I do and helping women realize their potential so that they can become the woman they desire to be.

  • It would be REALLY easy to not go for our dreams.

It would be REALLY easy to give up and just "get by". It would be REALLY easy to say "maybe one day". ➡️But you know what would so NOT be easy?

The feeling of knowing you never went for it.

The regret of not saying yes to your goals and your dreams.

That empty feeling inside of you wanting something bigger.

The feeling of knowing you are capable of so much more but never actually going for it.

Resenting people because they tried to shrink you down or scoff at your dreams.

I told MAYBE 3 people about this business when I started it. I was SO scared (and honestly sometimes still can be (hello just because I hit 10k followers doesn't mean I'm not human) ) of what other people might think of me for doing something different.

I grew up on a farm by a town that had 60 people in it. SIXTY.

It doesn't exactly scream job opportunity like New York City. But I loved it there.

I also knew I wanted to live in the country but I didn't want to end up in a job I hated. So I decided to just go for it. I took messy action. I knew I needed something I could literally do from anywhere. My first website for myself was hilarious - I've changed my biz name multiple times - I've had failed sales calls - ppl unfollow me - I've had flops but my successes are starting to outweigh those. Because I said yes. I said yes to starting my business in 2015 and I said yes to partnering with a Health + Wellness company and I said yes to my dreams and my goals.

So if there is something inside you that secretly you want to do but are too afraid to tell anyone about - I'm here to let all my #bossbabes, #smalltowngirls, #countrygirls and #citygirls alike know that you've got to do it. You can be whoever you want to be. & this is your safe space to LET IT BE KNOWN.

Just because you're "busy", or maybe work full-time, are in school, are a Mom, live in the middle of nowhere, etc.,is all the more reason why you should, NOT the reason why you shouldn't.

You've got something amazing to share with the world & there are people out there waiting for YOU to say your YES so that they can too.

  • Good morning sunshine!! Question for you: Are you losing leads & prospects from Instagram or your website?

And if you are, do you know where you're losing them?

People who come to your website from Instagram are considered warm leads. It’s up to your website to convert them into hot leads, people who are almost ready to buy.

Time to treat your biz like a biz and start measuring insights and metrics!

Here's a little mini training on what to start with📊: The people who have seen your Instagram photos but aren’t following your profile are cold leads. The people who saw your Instagram profile, loved it, and started following your account are warm leads.

Use Instagram Insights and start measuring these 4 metrics to find out where you’re losing prospects, calculate conversions at each stage of the funnel:

Reach: # of ppl.

Started Following: Divide # of new followers by reach.

Contacted: # of people who messaged/asked for more info. Divide contacts by new followers.

Purchased: Divide # of purchases by contacts.

Another great tool is Simply Measured which is a free tool that allows you to track comments and other metrics on Instagram.

The easiest way to see total clicks is with Instagram Insights. Tap the bar graph icon in the upper-right corner of your profile. You can then see the number of times the links in your bio have been clicked for a specific time period.

If you track this on a spreadsheet (or go old school with pen + paper), you’ll be able to clearly see where your weaknesses are and the stages you need to optimize/get better at to grow your business.

  • Your brand personality is what makes your business relatable to a customer or client. Don't be afraid to let people get to know YOU! Having a brand personality is SO important for businesses because it can help increase your brand awareness, popularity, and recognition online. Thanks to video this is SO much easier now but here's a few tips to help infuse your personality on your website or in your posts:

1. HELLOOOOO Write how you talk! 😊 Yes, it can seem a little tricky because you also want to sound professional, but here's the thing ➡️ people can relate much more to your business if you write in an authentic way, weaving in your quirks and uniqueness.

2. Cohesive graphics & design

A major way you can infuse your brand personality into your website is through your design and graphics. We live in a visual age, where people are drawn to pleasing design and appealing graphics so to really make your brand memorable you will need great design and graphics.

You want your followers to be able to recognize your brand even if they don’t see your name attached to it.

3. Share personal stories

Personal stories are what make us unique and different from everyone else. I heard the BEST statement in a training I listened to - you don't have to be better, you just have to be different! No one has the same story as you, and there’s no better way to authentically connect with others than sharing personal stories.

You don't need to start revealing your deepest and darkest secrets, BUUUT giving a glimpse of an experience you had out in the world and how it relates to your business can help you relate on a more personal level with your clients and customers.

clear to your client / customer.

Strong brand messaging is only part of the equation - you need to be visible and get seen by the
right eyeballs! That means showing up where your target audience is, taking the stage, and
showing the world who you are.

4. WHY ARE YOU THE BEST OPTION FOR YOUR IDEAL CLIENT?
You have to set yourself apart from the crowd to get noticed! We pay attention to things that stand
out and refuse to fit in, in a way that matters to us. They spark our curiosity and get us interested
in what comes next.

5. WHAT PROBLEM DO YOU SOLVE FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS?
Do the right people feel like your offer and brand are for them?
 People all constantly asking, “What’s in it for me?”. How do you help your client get where
